In 2017, I weighed 236 pounds and started my fitness journey. I lost 90 pounds with diet changes, but with these 90 pounds, I lost lots of muscle. I walked into the gym and signed up for a membership and signed Garrett on as my trainer. In my first lesson, he handed me 5 and 8 pound dumbbells for strength training. I’m up to 285 pounds on my deadlift and pounds 245 on my squats. Garrett’s coaching and nutrition advice have been vital to these improvements.Garrett has been my trainer for 1.5 years and I can see the improvement in my strength and physique. He listens to my concerns and gives me honest feedback. He pushes me to give extra effort in all my physical/health goals. This year, I have started training for Powerlifting and can’t wait for my first meet.
